The past few years have been about learning to let go and just rock out, both in music and in life. My path hasn't gotten any easier but I've encountered more joy, more peace and so many more fascinating characters along this path of improvisation. Life is sweet.
lyrics
Cell phone rings at half past two,
wants to know if I heard the news
"Someone's done somebody wrong,
now wouldn't that make a great rock song?"
That pain is something I once knew
but I kept on walking through
Oh no, I won't write that song
Oh, I'll keep making it up as I go along
I had my notes, I had my lists
I held on tight with both my fists
I lived in fear of being wrong
What if they thought I don't belong?
'Kept looking back and almost missed
how to survive on just my bliss
Oh, I might be wrong but
Oh, I'll keep making it up as I go along
Oh, I might be wrong but
Oh, I'll keep making it up as I go along
Do I stay or do I go?
Am I yes or am I no?
Do I cry myself to sleep
or is it joy that makes me weep?
Am I weak or am I strong for making it up as I go along?
Am I weak or am I strong for making it up as I go along?
The sun reaches into the gray
but if it rains, I'll be okay
The winds are fierce and the nights are long
but dark inspires the sweetest song
My friends all think I've lost my way
when I stop in the rain and kneel to pray
I find quiet in the throng
if I keep making it up as I go along
I find quiet in the throng
if I keep making it up as I go along
Do I stay or do I go?
Am I yes or am I no?
Do I cry myself to sleep
or is it joy that makes me weep?
Am I weak or am I strong for making it up as I go along?
Oh, I might be wrong but I'll keep making it up as I go along
Oh I'll keep making it up as I go along....
